IMO I think the idea should be to detract attention to your braces, not make them stand out, so just get silver (not white, because it stains). If you're going to get a metal dental apparatus installed into your face it might as well look like one.

Ye. I got spacers in on Thursday, and that hurt the first day, because I kept biting on the rubber. As a result, my teeth got REALLY sore. But now they are a lot better, because I leave a gap in between my bottom and top layers of teeth. I can eat hard stuff, as long as I do not constantly strain my teeth
