What are your thoughts on Roblox?

Roblox for me was a "stepping stone."

I loved playing it as a kid, but I grew out of it due to the overall age of roblox's community, and the lack of any quality updates, features, community, and web design. I am IP banned from roblox now, and I don't exactly care anymore.

I started playing it in 2009 with the help of some videos about the game. And then on April 1st this year they terminated and still charged me for Builders Club. I loving hate the site these days yet I still visit it in hope that they will make the site good again.

the game itself is pretty damn good. impressive physics engine and graphics. the thing that makes it bad are the lack of quality games.

The problems I have with Roblox is the fact that they announce some pretty cool updates on paper, but in reality when you try it yourself is very unoptimized, glitchy and complicated to work with and never get to look good like how they promote it, the prices for their Builders Club upgrades are very overpriced at the point that is unnecessary, also there are a lot of questionable design choises, the big majority of levels created by players are cringe worthy, and the community is, well, it's the Roblox community, you know how it is.

also really stuffty idle animations that make the game lag out the starfish, stuffty particles, stuffty servers rule the lists, too many FNAF RP servers, too many obstacle courses, armoured patrol (only playable game until recently) was broken by the said idle animations and particles,  zero play value unless you're a 9 year old that thinks fnaf is good role play material.

If its physics weren't server sided, they would of been amazing, but alas, no.
