You're still at the age where your expectations are too high and don't know what you want out of the relationship.
This, middle school relationships are stupid because the kids in basically just copy what they see older kids doing to feel older, it's the equivalent of a 3rd grade girl playing kingdom on a playground, you are just acting out what you see on the media or books. There
is a time to start dating, but people start too young too often.
