why do people always say this
They're almost always the people who were (and probably still are) too afraid to ask someone out.

why do people always say this
because these relations arent really serious.
Most of the time.

That doesn't mean you should avoid the whole thing.

I've said it before - if the only purpose relationships serve at this age is to build confidence, it's a worthwhile endeavour.

Not to come in with the "lmao bad experiences" but I'm gonna do it anyway, if you happen to have bad luck, it can crush all the confidence you did have, and possibly more.

Which can also happen at any age

It's not really about building confidence, I think it's more about learning what a stable relationship looks and feels like. My first boyfriend, for example, was a huge loving starfish and pretty abusive (not in the sense where he's like hitting me but) and I was in denial about it for a long time. It took people from the outside to point that out to me for me to really understand and I feel as though I've really matured from that.

I think the sad thing is though that people don't always get to experience that and get pushed around by stuffty partners, even at ages where relationships are "serious."

i'm kinda glad though that that was brought up

So it is just used as an excuse to let out bottled up bitchiness?
everyone who says stuff like this is boys
so

I'm not saying it's limited to confidence, my point was more if nothing else, it does that. I'm sure it teaches a great many things.

lemme break it down a bit

so periods are pretty miserable ok. horrid cramps, skin breakouts and excess oil, feeling bloated but super hungry and thirsty at the same time, mood swings, headaches, and the fact that you're bleeding, etc etc (it varies ok). it all combines to make for a pretty bad time (i for one can get easily frustrated, cramps so bad that i can't walk, bloating and awful spine pain, feeling gross all the time and wanting to eat everything). yes us women can be easily upset when on our periods (some worse than others; i often feel like i want to strangle anyone and everyone for like day or two) but it by no means makes all of us totally irrational. we fully understand that nearly biting someone's head off with the excuse of "i'm on my period" is pretty stuffty and we therefore understand that we're expected to keep our mood swings and anger in check.

tbh it gets p annoying when everyone says "oh she's on her period" whenever a female gets mad at something, cuz we can get mad regardless of whether or not we're on our period.

-periods-
My best friend goes on her period every forgetin 3 weeks and she's exactly the same but with more stomach pain and bleeding

My girlfriend is mental on her period, but after 4 years of it I fully understand it. She'll get angry over something little, I'll apologise, she'll get angry at me apologising, and then she'll cry. I would hate to be a girl lol.

yes they happen once a month. it's annoying and lasts like a whole week. a week of misery every month.

it sucks. you just gotta give us some extra space til the stuffstorm is over. it's especially hard at my school where everyone is always loud and obnoxious and on hell weeks it's like "at the end of this day i'm going to have killed at least one of you idiots"

didnt you know?
girls are the reason for all depression ever

This solves the thread and happens to pretty much be true. Everything that happens that's bad has a girl tied in it somehow. am i kidding because now I'm not sure
