Author Topic: Playing a music instrument?  (Read 1979 times)

Yeah I want to play one. Not sure what tough.
Was thinking about a saxophone (tenor) or a violin or something.
Not sure what to do.
I also want to follow music classes. Not put on youtube and learn myself or some stuff
So yeah, what do? Does anyone have experience?

the sax (alto) is what i play and i enjoy it, but like all saxophones the only real difference is pitch and how it's transposed; and it's also good to note the saxophone is one of the easiest instruments to play

but it would help to know what kind of music stuff you want to be doing

Check your local newspaper for adverts for music lessons.
Or ask your schools music teacher if they know anyone providing music lessons.

I would like to go for blues-ish music.
Like the music in the cowboy bebop ost's. I really enjoy listening to them.
Did some research and found out the tenor sax was the closest to what I heard.

if you want to do the super lovey jazz solos do tenor
do it for Bill Clinton

I don't know stuff about sax but go for it man

I took guitar classes for a while, but they got boring and I was always confused because I don't understand music very well besides how to read it and play notes on it.

I played Annoying Orangeet for 8 years until college

To start off, try a recorder, then inch your way up to more advanced instruments.

Well most schools give free recorder lessons at like 4th grade so I don't think this is an issue.
