Cant change profile picture

When i save it it says that i got an error

i was gonna say something in your last topic but you locked it so i guess I'll post it here

You don't have to compress pictures to upload them as avatars. This specific version of simple machines has a problem with uploading pictures with metadata. There might be an online metadata remover, I haven't really checked because I use Photoshop which allows the exportation of metadata or not

Here's my better version. I made it using a greenscreen ingame, so I can change the background colour to whatever you want in photoshop, just ask.

Sorry for the delay, I don't usually deal with transparency in gifs. For anyone wondering in future, the best way to make the edges look clean on a transparent .gif is to make the Matte colour the same blue as the forum. This barely shows up on a white background, and obviously blends with the background of this post. Here's the same image with the Matte option set to 'None'.
