i went to the dentist today, hoping there wasn't any cavities. the dentist noticed a abscess in my tooth that reached down to my nerve. he poked at, but i didn't feel any pain. he then told me i need a root cbrown town and now i'm scared. the procedure is on the 26th.

Root cbrown towns aren't bad at all, they numb you up with injections before the procedure, so you don't feel anything more than a normal filling.
Then after, there's no nerve left, so there's not much to feel pain. I got one, they gave me a 7-day or so prescription of vicodin, I got it filled but never needed any, there was no pain afterwards.

It's just a long, boring (and expensive as hell) procedure

laughing gas does nothing on me. found that out when i had to get baby teeth pulled so they could put braces on me sooner. they had to give me really painful injections and it sucked

my insurance covers it, but strangely not the crown. i hope i get vicodin or something similar but i doubt i will since i'm 16.

I had a root cbrown town done when I was thirteen. It was awful. I was there for like two hours and I could feel them pokin' around in what was left of my tooth. Didn't help that the cleaning agent they put around your tooth tastes like the scent of pool chlorine.
