add a scene
add a game capture or window capture source
select what you want to record
file > settings > output
set video bitrate to 3000
set audio bitrate to 256
set recording quality to high
set recording format to whatever your video editor supports
video tab
set fps to 30 or 60
obs isn't hard
like at all, it should be fairly obvious
