I've always only just put water in it. I thought it was the jam, but this morning I decided to put milk in because I was bored and a bit frisky in a idc mood. And now I have added an amazing collection of seasonings and MMMMMMM. Best breakfast I've had in a while.

I assumed. Nobody in their right mind would say "Holy Mama South".

Is it like oatmeal texture, or "gritty"?

Depends how you make them. If you add less liquid it's more gritty, but if add nice amount of milk it
s kind of creamy like mashed potatoes except with grits in. I do find just adding a good bit of water makes it kindof soupy which I don't like.

it's kind of like cream of wheat

I loving love grits with milk, butter, and sugar poured on top of it. It is like an climax in your mouth
