yeah no thats not what edgy means anymore
Then what does it mean?

yeah no thats not what edgy means anymore
k

two things:
one, what do you think it means?
and two, wiktionary isn't the webster or oxford dictionary. it can change as words change. you can't use "it's outdated" as an excuse to be wrong

from urban dictionary
Quote
Applied to books, music, or even haircuts which tend to challenge societal norms and reveal the dark side. Cutting edge.

for example the protagonist (antagonist???) from Hatred would be edgy

I would take it up with the chair of the math department or the main office.

Something tells me your teacher just hates you.

Thats still not a reason to not give you a point you DESERVE.

yeah no thats not what edgy means anymore
yeah okay but edgy doesn't mean any behavior that's dumb and against society it's behavior against society that's made to get a shocked reaction so that said person will feel eclectic.

this teacher isn't being edgy he's being weird and honestly a bit pretentious too, like wtf "nothing is perfect" well then make sure one of the problems on your test is unanswerable cus if not there's a chance someone will do perfect you lummox

ok. we get it. your new favorite word is edgy.

also, this is the same teacher that won't let us spell reflection, "reflection". He makes us spell it "reflexion", (reflexing, reflexor, etc) which almost aren't words.
What.
That sounds like someone trying to sound ""cool"" but failing horribly. Like using the letter Z instead of S.

Seriously OP I don't think your math teacher has the "teaching" part down quite yet.

What are you even trying to say? Are you arguing a dictionary definition?

Well if you score perfectly, and he simply doesn't believe in perfection, if he bars you from scoring the proportional amount from what you achieve, then he is barring you based on personal philosophy, and this is something that is very bad within the intellectual sphere.  I would take it to the department head/principal what have you.

stufflord tends to do this stuff. he lives up to his name.

I read somewhere that old Catholic schools did this because 100% was perfect and only Jesus could be perfect. Is your math teacher Catholic?
