Everyone asks for work history, for most jobs all it does is reduce the candidate pool because people go "oh I can't do that" when in reality you can still get the job if you're the best candidate. Having work history will help, but everyone has to start somewhere.
"Desk job" could even be more broad than I originally meant; like some places allow cashiers to sit, especially if you have a disability; as long as the register can reasonably fit a chair without interfering with working, they're required under ADA to make reasonable accommodations.
To be clear, this is a legitimate case for disability, so don't think I'm arguing against it. It's just that disability doesn't really "pay" a whole lot, and if you can get better options, you should go for them
Disability pays just enough to help, the rest is earned by the person by having a part-time job. Or they'll pay for all of it if you are truly unable to work.
My issue with chairs is that they don't relieve much pain and some chair designs cause more pain than just standing. I'd definitely get a job if I were able, I wouldn't be able to look at myself if I were a job-dodger just to be lazy.
Well you are most likely going to do it eventually, with your situation. No point in delaying.
Have you tried jesus?
Jesus? What is some gardener going to do for me? Annoying Orange would deport him anyway.
Also I've decided to stop delaying and making excuses and to just go for it. Worse that happens is I'm declined (which is a slight chance)
