Author Topic: Australian "No Jab, No Pay" law passes (Read 2167 times)

Yesterday the Aussie parliament passed a law which is designed to encourage people to vaccinate their kids. Basically they will stop giving various tax and other fiscal benefits to families in which the children are not kept up to date with their vaccinations.

I'm overwhelmingly in favour of the legislation, but I'm also aware that there's also a high concentration of high income Australian families which this will have no impact on. What do you guys think?

I was actually required to write an essay in my intro to university class on why should/shouldn't vaccinations be mandatory
After it's graded and all that I might share it here if people are remotely interested
