Author Topic: 5.25" floppys  (Read 1452 times)

I went to my grandma's house this weekend and found a case full of about 30 5.25" floppys and a brand new 5.25" floppy drive still in the wrapper its made by TEAC, you know that company that makes cassette players mainly :I anyway most of them are business related (one dates back to july 25 1986), but one is very special, it is an operating system install disk for HDOS 2

im thinking of taking one of my old piece of stuff winxp desktops I have laying around and put in the drive, maybe even install HDOS

You should show your friends, I bet they'd be impressed with your 5.25" floppy.

Re: [NSFW] Exposed floppy mid entry

yo come on rule 2 dude

Why does your grandma have a case filled with floppies anyway? That can't be legal

Oh god I can believe I had to use these when I had my first computer

Oh god I can believe I had to use these when I had my first computer

I had to practically use them once, in 1st grade I had to type a paper on one of the outdated win 98 computers in the multipurpose room and the teacher showed me how to use one but after that I never saw one again until a few years ago, but I had never seen a 5.25 before, only the 3" hard disk ones

All jokes side, I also have a 5.25" floppy

All his floppy is good for is putting computers to sleep mode
