Faraji stops and waits for the battle to finish, hoping to be able to scavenge some pelts from the remains.

"Do you, ah, speak a full dialect? You seem to enjoy gestures..."

Öln lowers his axe slightly, but is still unsure of the strange man's intentions. He's also worried about the size of that eagle.
Blatsa furrows his brow as the man speaks, obviously confused.  He then leans slightly forward, lifting the hand with the cooked porkchop up slightly.  He points to it, then to the two individuals, making another eating motion.

Öln lowers his axe slightly, but is still unsure of the strange man's intentions. He's also worried about the size of that eagle.
Suddenly, Öln hears a sloshing and a rapid scooting.  Although he feels somewhat apprehensive taking his gaze off of the man who calls himself Blatsa, he turns around to see a giant turtle-like creature dragging what remains of the dagu into the water.

«Öln has discovered the Chogura.  Ψ»

Faraji stops and waits for the battle to finish, hoping to be able to scavenge some pelts from the remains.
As the battle finishes, Faraji can hear one of the larger bolgil leaving the swamp, a bit bloodied.

"Hey! I need those bones!"

Öln lets out a war cry as he sprints towards the big stupid shell monster. He attempts to land the strongest hit he can muster on its head, swinging his axe overhead and down onto its skull.

The chogura, at this point halfway in the water, seems to have taken the hit, but is seemingly unphased.  It backs up and drags the dagu into the water, getting away with its prize.

"loving thieving armored tumor hatred sub gator knight bowl dragon monster! I'll get that forgeter!"

Öln begins quite angrily digging out a hole near the shore with his axe.

"Piece of stuff freeloading snail fish lizard wolf will get what's coming to it!"

"How strange.  They're not usually that daring."

A man walks forward out of the forest, clad in fur coats, wearing an eagle hood that covers his eyes.  He carries a staff with a dagu skull on it, and it jingles with the sounds of stones, sticks, and bones.

As Öln looks up for a brief moment, he notices that the large eagle is gone, but this new figure resembling an eagle has appeared.

The man then looks at Blatsa and talks to Blatsa in his tongue, asking "Are you afraid of them?"

"Hey, magical spirit guy, got any spades to spare? A man needs his revenge!"

"...On that loving mentally impaired walking-not-talking scaly stuffhead snakey son-of-a-whore dog crab!"

Veshikk looks over towards the cursing hurricane and just

"Calm down, Öln." He readjusts his grip on the spear and eyes the strange man and Blatsa.

"I'm afraid not," Kesakh responds calmly, before looking over to Veshikk.

He readjusts his grip on the spear and eyes the strange man and Blatsa.
"There's no need to worry.  This man means you no harm, and appears to be offering you the choicest cuts of a large bolgil that he slaughtered just this morning."

"It looks like you're almost out of daylight, though," Kesakh exclaims while looking up at the sky.  "Ah!  I'll tell you what.  If you guys make peace, I'll spare you the trouble of starting a fire."

oln just accidentally

Veshikk looses his grip on the spear slightly. He slowly shakes his head while pointing to the bolgi meat. He clasps his right fist and slaps it over his heart, saying ad victoriam, brother "Veshikk." He points to his axe-wielding acquaintance and says "Öln."

Btw since time is still moving and everything:

Svala collapses from fever, starvation, dehydration.  As she looks up to the sky, she sees little black shadows moving to and fro.  The sound of flapping and cawing fills the air around her.  They begin to peck at her flesh, biting and tearing at it.  She is unable to cry out in pain or move as they slowly eat her alive.

«Svala has discovered the Zvryma.»
«Svala has died.  She can respawn on Day 4 at dusk or later if desired.»

Suddenly, the skull of Kesakh's staff lights up with an eerie blue light inside, with a fog as thick as molasses inside.

"Oh, how unfortunate.  What a terrible way to go." he mutters to himself while Blatsa and Veshikk try to communicate.  Kesakh then begins to whisper a few words into the staff, looking up at the stars.

Hocef feels very weak, having not eaten anything for a while, and not had water for two days.  She finds it difficult to walk.

Heshimun clutches at his stomach, not having eaten anything but a few berries.

Faraji goes to the battle scene to see if anything's left.

Faraji sees a monster of a male bolgil sleeping there.  It would stand at 5' at the shoulder should it stand up.
