Well, considering it's still 2 weeks until the semester is over but I'm getting a huge amount of homework and tests (you wouldn't believe how much stuff we have to learn in two weeks for 20% of our grade in Piano of all things) still, I guess I'm quitting?

This isn't FarmVille. I'm not a babysitter. If I'm punished for not having time to keep checking in, then I guess that's what will happen. (And yes, I have been guilty of time-sensitive RPs in the past, so this is a bit hypocritical).

Perhaps this sort of thing is better suited for a live chat in sessions, like people play DnD, using IRC, Skype, Steam, or Rolz.org.

Well let me first revise this:

I will allow a time of three days to request stasis. After that point, I will not allow it. There may be a chance in the future, should it make it to another have a exam season, where I will allow this again.

This is voided.  I was actually walking at the time and wasn't focusing on what I was typing because I was weaving through people.

Second, it's an active timescale in a survival-based game.  On one hand I completely understand, and the offer for full restoration is still open, but on the other hand, I really wonder why you couldn't take a minute of your time to request stasis or ask if such a thing is possible.  Do I give off the impression that I'm unapproachable or something?

Also Nikki has requested and has been approved stasis, expiring Friday.  Hocef is non-existant at this point.

Veshikk takes the stone and touches it to the firepit Blatsa has made. After a few attempts he says "Yzte c'tomej nidegg" and draws his hand back. Sure enough, a fire immediately begins crackling, giving off some much-needed heat. The stone grows a little colder.

He stares at the fire for a moment in wonder before taking his cuts of meat and placing them on his spear to roast over the fire.

Maybe Öln fell asleep while chopping wood.

But I have a lot on my mind right now, and a viking chick in the forest is really not at the top of my priorities. I really can't guarantee anything until the 17th, but that's a long time and any updates in the middle will be sporadic at best.

I'm just not very good at keeping up on all this stuff even without school, but right now I really need to maintain my grades to make up for Spanish in the last few years. So, yeah, given you probably don't want to deal with me only checking up every few days, I'm going to quit. Not your fault or anything.

While Öln begins to sharpen it, he finds that it is hollow, and might be able to make a decent pokey-knife from it, but not any kind of slicing knife.
