wait that looks like the bridges between the center and the outsides are total bottlenecks and people can just fire into the openings for easy kills
or worse just right down the bridge because there's nowhere to dodge but up, which is a pretty stuff option anyway
i wanted to avoid using invisible bricks to support the bridge, since maybe people would want to build some sort of barricade in the middle. i'll switch from using the 8x cube supports to 4x cube supports so its less of a firing lane and more like an open-topped bridge.
and dont forget people can still build their own bridges - the main difference is that there is already a bridge in the first place, so teams will have to both defend and build at the same time.
I've seen trench maps with interesting backgrounds. Just make the boundary walls invisible.
would take up more bricks though - one positive thing about trench tdms are that the base brickcount is usually low so almost everyone can play on them
i'll pm greek the updated save of this later. the dirt towers are now 3 64x away from the bases - it just looks closer in the picture.
