'Sides,
i would be too hurt to save myself or the other so we both die

save them
that's a conscious decision though
in the moment i might end up saving myself

Voted myself without even reading the actual situation first 8)

Idk I have five younger siblings

save them
that's a conscious decision though

According to the OP, the younger person is not at all able to save you, so why not save yourself and then go back for them? At least in that situation you have the chance of saving you both instead of essentially ensuring your own death. I mean, I know OP says that you will not make it back in time but you don't know that for sure so :x

So I'm capable of saving one of us but my little sister isn't capable of the same task. This must mean that either she's more injured than I am, or we're both caught in different situations. I'm going to assume the former because the latter would just put me at the same risk thus making me incapable of saving her. So she's just more injured than I am, possibly unconscious. How exactly am I capable of saving her? Is there some sort of med kit nearby, but only one? In what way am I injured to the point that I'll die if I don't save myself, but am still well enough to save someone else instead? You know what, forget it. I may be only able to save one, but I'm making an emergency call, paramedics know how to save multiple people, and it doesn't specify that they cannot. Just that I may only save one, and that my sister cannot save anyone.
