why didnt god abort Riddler if he had a choice though

Hm, this thread's been on for a bit lets se-

Yeah ok I honestly expected this

Then what I said in my previous post should help answer your question:Only God really knows whether or not the child is going to die. He is capable of saving the child's life, and I believe that he does save the child spiritually, if the child dies. If the mother chooses to abort, it means she is trusting the doctor more than she trusts God.
So scans from MRI show your baby has not developed a brain or working heart, and you should trust that God is going to perform the most extreme miracle ever reported and then die for it?

if god is merciful why didnt he abort me before i found this forum

It was a strawman because you misquoted what I said in order to make my position easier to attack.
You said:
Just looking at what you said there, it seems very clear to me that you were implying I was saying we should kill mothers if their child dies in childbirth. Which to me is just as wrong as choosing to kill the child.
Again, it's not a strawman.
1. You're saying that even if the mother has a high chance of dying in childbirth, if the child has an even slight chance of survival that it should be done anyways. In most cases, again, the child will be dying as well. That's literally what I restated, only in less vague language.

2. There is basically no reliable way to tell whether or not a child will survive a child birth in which they will most likely die. Pregnancies are not an exact science.

3. Most likely outcomes in your ideal world: Both die. Less likely outcome: Mother survives, child dies. Even less likely outcome: Mother dies, child survives.
4. Most likely outcomes in a world with abortion: Mother survives, child dies. Less likely: Mother dies, child survives. Even less likely: Both die.

It's a clear net loss of life. Greater good theorem in action yo.

I don't think that's the problem. I think it's mainly people having an issue with babies being killed and shredded up because the mother didn't want a kid. It's more of a moral issue, not a religion issue.
It's mainly a religious issue. People of the secular persuasion generally don't see the issue with removing a cluster of zygote cells. It's religious doctrine that tells people that these cells have a 'soul' or something.

jesus christ almighty
Oh hey, here's the old bible-thumping Planr we all knew and didn't love!

look i can understand its a nice thought to think that god is watching out for you but if im ever faced with a straight up life or death situation im going to pick the scientifically proven methods

I believe that basic fundamental Human rights apply immediately to anyone who is genetically Human, especially the right to life.
i too believe that unborn fetuses should have the right to vote, free speech, and free press. let's go ahead and give them the right to bear arms since that's considered an inalienable human right in the US at this point. i want my baby to come out wielding a sniper rifle.

My sympathies go to the victims, this was a really tragic event. I'd also call it fair to classify this as a terrorist attack, as it was a pretty severe intentional massacre. Hopefully those who are still labeling Planned Parenthood as "baby murderers" wake up because of this event.

Yeah I'd trust a make believe character from a 2,000 year old book more than someone who's studied medicine for ~10 years and understands what it does and how it works

Well I mean I'm pretty sure Paul Bunyan was born with an axe and whoever that black guy was who built railroad tracks was born with a hammer.
