I know this might sound embaracing but...
I'm trying to make a weapons mod like in the Phantom Forces (Roblox First Person Shooter thats acctually good)
Like,high poly but still blocky.
Aimable and stuff like that..

Why high poly but blocky? Isn't that essentially low poly?

yeah that high poly but blocky contradicts itself

Topic: high/medium poly modeler.
battlefield weapon pack

please no
we don't need any more weapon packs that have more polys than a player with all nodes showing

I'm not talking about the ones that were made, these models are ugly cause they dont really fit in blockland.
If you look at the Phantom Forces game on roblox,it has really nice gun models and they acctualy could fit into any other blocky type of game.

I considered them high/medium poly because they have a lot of detail, but still have that blocky feeling.
Please don't be one of these people that say "OMG IF ITS FROM ROBLOX THEN NOBODY CARES"
I would really like to see a weapon pack like this in blockland.
Hope you understand.

I completely understand the difference between style and detail.
Just because something's blocky, doesn't mean it's impossible to have a lot of detail.
I'm just saying it shouldn't. There's no reason a gun should have any more than 5x the detail of the player. I understand that the player isn't very detailed and advising to not be more detailed than the player just restricts creativity too much. But it's very awkward looking to lug around some 3k poly gun. I especially believe stuff like that looks worse in ROBLOX than it would in Blockland, simply because the players are extremely basic looking in ROBLOX, holding things very high detailed.

The example models don't look high poly either. The only thing that would need to be changed is the fact that they have roundness to them.

you should ask in the 3D modeling topic in creativity. or look through the posts there and see if any models/modelers catch your eye

TheKhoz has a pretty large model database, and I think has the style you're going for. Could ask him.

I like the whole round part of them,it gives them style.
Wait conan,that still exists?
I forgot about it,sure ill look around i guess.
