which timezone should it take place??

Depends.
Lots of people love the clone wars with Jedis going ape stuff with their tricks.
Some people love the classic battles as troopers.
Sequel would be hard considering there was no war besides in the sky.


If the RP is supposed to be a jedi RP, do prequels.
If the RP is supposed to be regular soldier RP, do original.

But Rey is as cheap as a force using character gets. Tbh i think the film could live without her.

I liked her character. And I'm sure her backstory is going to be interesting when it gets revealed.

I prefer her to Finn, because he was cowardly most of the film (which I don't think is bad, and there will be character development, but it doesn't currently make me like him as much).
Kylo Ren was fun, but he's not likable.
Poe wasn't prevalent enough, but he's a very charming character.
Phasma didn't have enough screentime, which is a shame.
BB-8 is cute, but IMO, is ever so slightly lacking in personality compared to R2-D2.

And I don't want to choose an Original Trilogy character, because this is a new trilogy, and it has new characters who deserve a chance to shine.

7,8,9 were greenlit when Disney bought Lucasfilms, and they're redesigning a large portion of Disney's Hollywood Studios to be "Star Wars land". They're dumping a large amount of money into this to make sure it sticks.

Whatttttt noo way. BB-8 Had much more personality than R2-D2! He would shake when scared, he would rest his head when sad, he would act feisty when angry, he would bounce when excited!

Joking aside, I love R2 but definitely felt more personality from BB-8 than from R2. R2 beeps stuff you have no idea what he's saying. Never beeps a certain tone that you can understand. BB-8 did just fine conveying emotion.

I never thought I'd argue about R2 before lol.

Eh, I kinda liked the one that played with the Ewoks in episode 6 slightly more, but that one is gr8. Can't remember the song name, will find in a bit.

agreeable, this along with Rey's theme are the only songs that have ever given me goosebumps from John Williams. forget not even the originals did that for me

I loved Poe, he was easily one of the best parts of the movie, imo. Watching him and Finn and that absolutely beautiful chemistry they had was hilarious and awesome to me, and was arguably my favorite part of the movie.
