Author Topic: afraid to talk to a friend after incident  (Read 4180 times)

Forget about it and go talk to her like you usually would.

What I always do is just talk normally, and NEVER mention that situation you were in or basically ^

asking him to change it is only going to make him not want to change it

So I was holding it back for a while, but I finally texted her back and simply asked her off we were still friends. She responded by saying "I hope so". I replied with "I'm not mad what happened. Life is too short for me to hold grudges against anyone. I was afraid to talk to you at school because I thought you never wanted to talk to me again." She felt the same way.

Everything is good now.

i'd be more concerned that somebody who's supposedly your friend makes off-the-cuff stalker accusations over a simple joke

that's reason alone to burn the bridges to be honest

I don't hold grudges. I just try my best to keep friends because I have a horrible fear of being alone.

well i wouldn't end a friendship that quickly, but i would definitely try to learn more about why it happened anyway

beg for forgiveness love

well that's fine and dandy but don't end up surrounding yourself with undesirable people

friendship is a two way street and sometimes you gotta take a step back and ask if you, YOU deserve what you're putting up with

it's not about "grudges," it's about being cautious. people who cause problems like this aren't unlikely to cause them again

here's one i took at the dentist

get a haircut would help like 500 percent

i have never really been good in social situations, so i don't really know how to handle complex relationships with people. how would i casually send a text to her without it being extremely awkward?

put a ;) at the end of every text
