24 more days untill newyear and I can start working as a student
But how does all that stuff work? Do you like walk at some company, give your CV and than what? Or ask them? No idea actually.
I really want to work because I get some experience and money to buy myself a computer.
So yeah, what do?
Also /discuss I guess.
And maybe /help


Learn HTML and CSS, they aren't so hard. You can get an easy 20-30 an hour freelancing websites for people. High in demand and high income

It's called putting in a resume.


#1 look through local newspaper
#2 go around local areas looking for places with a help wanted or now hiring notice
#3 check common retail areas
#4 google for local help wanted notices
#5 ask your parent(s) if their workplace is hiring

The sunday paper usually has a ton of job listing things or whatever its called. I guess I can do that.
I have never in my life seen a paper on the wall asking they need help. Or I never notice

My father drives trains and my mother does administrative things for the police so I doubt I can help

Well in my country 5 bucks an hour is litteraly nothing. A decent loan is 8 per hour (for a student). And I dont really get  get experience cleanig up stuff

experience isnt just doing the specific work, it's also having a job in general
any experience with having and keeping a job is a good thing to show employers

You might be a bit young for it yet but customer service (call centre) jobs are great for students. They're high stress, which means high staff turn-over, resulting in lots of positions. They're often very flexible with times too because they have such high turnover.
