Other way around.
Some people are able to host without port-forwarding. Because of UPnP.

If you are unable to port forward whatsoever (Like me) because of you not having a router, then I recommend Block Net Hosting Dedicated Services.

If you don't have a router then you don't need to port forward at all, nor even use UPnP. If you're just hooked up to a modem then all connections are coming straight to the computer you have hooked up to it.
