jontron episodes have always been scripted except when he does something weird or decides to keep in a failed clip for comedic purposes
the bigger production nonsense is just more ways for him to execute what he wants to do. leaves options open and lets him work more freely
Well, no stuff JonTron goes off a script otherwise it'd be a podcast. What Im talking about is how he seems less and less dis-genuine. I mean, it's the same old JonTron and the same humor that I enjoy, but the sound stage hes on, the random and elaborate props, and the random guest stars feel to me more like a checklist of expected things than things he'd want to do. Kind of like big to the point where hes basically a parody of himself.
I still like him. But I liked him more on a budget. Less came out of the props and more came out of him.
i'll say it, game grumps was low-effort garbage. if i wanted to listen to two chuckledumbs play a videogame I'd do it myself. it brought nothing new or interesting to the table and at no point was it especially funny.
And I agree with this and all its new off channels.
Arron is a grating personality with an inflated image who prides himself over knowing so much about game design yet can't pick up simple game ques. Then goes full circle and calls it bad game design. He's a loving one man show.
