Author Topic: do Australia, Queensland's driving test because why not  (Read 707 times)

I'm getting my drivers license soon, and I need to study this test and ace it to get a learners license

how well do you know road rules of down under

I got 23 / 30 for the general tests and 28 / 30 for the motorcycle test, without previous research on any of the road rules or such, just using common sense and guesses. Sounds easy but I'm pretty sure its required to get 30/30 to pass, perhaps another aussie former can clarify that

huh stuff I should've put this is forum games. message badspot or lock and move?

The computer test for your Ls is hilariously easy.
I passed on my first try with 29/30, almost every questions is
"what do you do when x"
A) something stupid
B) wait for a duck to cross the road maybe
C) Following the Australian Licensing Act of 1994, Indicate in the intended direction you plan to turn for at least 30 meters, whilst maintaining a 2 second breaking gap between your vehicle and the vehicle in front.
D) driev carz

You need 28/30 to pass BTW

Not sure if it's 30/30. When I took my license exam, it was 85/100.

beginners license is easy

It's not 30/30. Got 29/30 and they passed me. You can basically do the forgetin' thing online like 18 times and then just go pay $30 to take the real one.

Do kangaroos have the right of way?

I got 22/30 on the general test, 19/30 on the motorcycle one, and 25/30 on the large truck one.

I just got 29/30 and I'm an American. The one I missed was how far is someone allowed to accelerate in a bus lane, which is apparently 100m and I guessed not at all.

Some of the answers gave me a chuckle with how sarcastic they seem compared to others

I guess I'm a little excited is all, feels so odd how easy it is. although my older brother failed his first test and my cousin just did hers and failed too. Perhaps they're just stuff.

Actually driving a vehicle is going to be way more different than a test though, which is what I should really be worried about

From what I've heard, the P's test in QLD is pretty similar to NSW. Just make sure you do all your head checks, be especially mindful to check your blind spots, cover your brake when necessary and always look back when reversing.

I got full marks on my Ls on the second try (loving road signs). Note that I have no intention of actually driving.
