[Religion Megathread] - What's your faith?

This is a place for people to talk about their beliefs in a friendly and nonconflicting manner. I also want to collect data on people's faiths and such, so yeah. I'll create a poll in a few seconds and expand upon it in the future.

My guess is that Atheist/Non-Religious will be the most voted, considering this is the internet.

Personally I follow the Nation of Islam loosely. I'm not a devout follower but I do believe in the teachings of the NOI and find them very interesting and influential.

What you SHOULD do:

   - Express your religious beliefs or faith in a non-confrontational manner
   - Preach or spread word of your religion or faith
   - Post links to websites or books pertaining to your religion or faith
   - Talk about theoretical or scientific matters as long as they pertain to your religion or faith
   - Provide positive feedback or opinions on other people's religion or faith

What you SHOULDN'T do:

   - Express your religious beliefs or faith in a confrontational or aggressive manner as to imply superiority or disbelief in another faith or religion
   - Force your religious views upon other people
   - Express tribal, segregative, or offensive views UNLESS they are the core beliefs of your religion or faith
   - Attempt to disprove religions or faiths using secular principles
   - Provide negative feedback or opinions on other people's religion or faith

There are religions that don't have gods. Atheism is considered a legitimate belief, even if its not a real 'religion.' I'm keeping it up.

Depends on how you define religion. If you define it as something like "the belief in a god or in a group of gods" then no, by definition there aren't. If you define it like wikipedia does "A religion is an organized collection of beliefs, cultural systems, and world views that relate humanity to an order of existence" then yeah, there's a possibility. I don't personally think atheism fits into either of those, since atheism is nothing more than a lack of belief in a god, it implies no belief, cultural system or world views. But I do think it should stay in the poll because otherwise people who aren't religious won't have an option and that's bad :(
