alright but there's a fundamental difference between breaking up and leaving children.

yes, and I'm sure she still cares about them. I imagine that the parents have joint custody, which kinda makes child support irrelevant
just because lord tony says "leaves wife and 7 children" to get more attention doesn't mean she actually abandoned any of them. I doubt she would be super fond of her (ex-)wife at this point but I don't see any reason whatsoever to think she's started ignoring her kids
