And why can't you contact them, the contest requires you to give a link to your steam profile.
And if contacting your steam profile is so important, why isn't it listed in the giveaway's OP or your blf profile?

It requires them to post their steam link so I know they have an actual steam account. I'm not going to pick a winner with no steam account.

However this does not mean that I am the one responsible for actively going on their steam profile to give them their game, that's their responsibility.

If someone doesn't know how to search for my steam profile then I don't know what to tell you.
