Yes, I don't have to explain. Do you understand how it works?
no, apparently you don't. you thought obama had to sign a bill for a supreme court decision, which is flat out incorrect

It happened under Obama's presidency, no need to grill me. Also you still haven't answered my question.

there is need to grill you. you're mistaken and spreading political misinformation in a thread dedicated to politics

happening under one's presidency =/= signing it into law

Also you still haven't answered my question.
evidently I do know how the supreme court works, considering I just pointed out how you're incorrect for believing that the president signs supreme court decisions into law

You explicitly said he signed a bill into law, implying that Congress created and passed a bill regarding the issue and then President Obama signed it into effect. The decision to rule the bans on same-love marriage as illegal was made by the Supreme Court, a separate branch of government from both the President and Congress.

Once again you are making bizarre political threads which showcase your ignorance on the subject. I'm not sure who you are trying to appeal to with these.

I made an edit to the original post. Also Obama still supported the act which would force all states to allow same-love couples to marry. It's not like he had no part in it.

Please refer to the previous quote. Also I don't appreciate you calling me ignorant politically. I could say the same thing to you for the post you made yesterday about "drunk raping" your girlfriend. Come on Otis.

freek for president, make cool man johnson found

Also Obama still supported the act
it wasn't an act, it was a landmark decision

It's not like he had no part in it.
he didn't have any part in it. just because one of his political planks is pro-gay marriage doesn't mean the supreme court took it into account. once again you prove you know nothing about the supreme court because chief justices aren't supposed to be partial, they're supposed to make decisions based on the constitution

How does making a joke about having drunk love make me ignorant of how the American government is structured? What the forget lol

To add on to What Jairo said, the biggest influence that Obama had on the issue was the fact that he has appointed two sitting Justices of the Supreme Court, but in no way do they owe any allegiance to him or his policies.

If you were able to read what I wrote, I said that your statement about "drunk raping" your girlfriend was ignorant. Nothing to do with politics. I was replying to you calling me ignorant politically, and replied telling you what I thought was really ignorant.

What did my comment show I was ignorant of exactly?

Also I don't appreciate you calling me ignorant politically. I could say the same thing to you for the post you made yesterday about "drunk raping" your girlfriend. Come on Otis.
Here you explicitly mention something, in this case you being called politically ignorant, then say you could say the same about me. Then you tell me you weren't talking about politics. So which is it? You constantly seem to be disconnected from the words you actually type and what you meant to say.

And why bring that up if it has nothing to do with politics or government? You're just grabbing for insults, relevant or not.

I think rape is pretty ignorant, don't you think? You brought up ignorance, and I brought it up too. It was on topic.
