No it's not, Israel is the biggest producer of drone technologies in the world, and also one of the largest producers/exporters of military equipment beside Russia. Israel is also home to the largest amount of PhD holders per capita for any other nation. Israel was also home to the invention of the USB flash drive and the first PC microprocessor. I advise you to do more research and realize that Israel is of great importance and at least they've made significant contributions to the world, unlike those Saudi's or neighbors of Israel. Despite existing for only seventy years, they've achieved so much (much much more than the Palestinians). In the time it took Israel to become one of the richest nations in the world, the Palestinians could of already built a developed nation. Please bare in mind that the Israeli's gave the Palestinians a ton of land back (Gaza Strip) during the Six Day War. Tell me any colonizers who do that.

Israel is the only nation in the Middle East which didn't become rich from oil, it's a diversified economy with dozens of sectors which account for its overall GDP. Unlike its neighbors, they all are oil dependent. Without their oil, it's just a desert.
