I just see *so many* "User was banned for this post" messages. Zero-tolerance, or just fake? I'm guessing it's real, but I just wondered.

I've seen people banned for faking it before.

Although I'm sure Badspot could easily prevent people from faking it. He already prevents people from posting the text that says someone posted while they were replying.

I've seen people fake their bans, but here's what happens:

Hi my name is Bob

User was banned for this post

Badspot edits it:

Hi my name is Bob

User was banned for this post

User was actually banned for this post

I've seen someone fake the "edited by Badspot" message with clever bbcode.

They got banned and it got crossed out.
