i'm not sure if you. uh. understand the difference between singular and plural.

I was saying that if Sam Pepper were to be accused of rape by numerous females, then it'd be serious. However, if it were only one female making the accusation (which is the case), then it'd still be serious but it's just an accusation. It's like when you apply for a job and only have one reference, you won't look too good compared to a person with various references.

Even if thousands of people all accused a single person of rape, it still means nothing unless at least one of them has proof of the accusation. More accusations =/= guiltyness.

I know what you mean and unfortunately this is true by law. However, if a man is being accused by fifty different women that they were all raped by the man, wouldn't you then be suspicious of that man? Is it ok to call these women liars?

I'd be suspicious if even one person accused someone else of rape. What I wouldn't do however is make any assumption about whether either party is telling the truth, or is guilty. (Which is unfortunate because a lot of times when people get accused of rape they loose their jobs, friends and SO's) I wouldn't call them liars unless i had evidence, in the same way I wouldn't believe someone was guilty unless there was evidence.

I'd also be suspicious of that man being accused of rape (even if it were to be from only one person). Yes, any accusation is a serious accusation. However, there are some cases where the female is lying (not always). Also I agree with you on the evidence part, I just think that there would be no reason for fifty women to lie about a man raping (that is of course they were all paid off, which isn't typical at all).

Remember how numerous women accused Bill Cosby of being a rapist, but nothing happened because there was no proof?  As far as I am concerned, if there is no proof then it didn't happen.  Innocent until proven guilty.  It seems you're really dwelling on the female card, why is that?

Why is that? Because I don't see how all of those women accusing Bill Cosby could be lying. It's like if one hundred children accuse a priest of molestation, would you not believe those kids even if there wasn't any evidence?

Hate is a powerful emotion. There have been tons of cases where multiple women have all accused a single person of rape in order to totally destroy their lives out of pure hate. Maybe these people all hated Cosby? Who knows. The point is, nothing (not even rape) is proven unless there is evidence. Asserting that something happened on its own is NOT proof of any sort.

Are you saying that it's possible that these women all shared the same hate for Cosby, and as a result they decided to make the accusations?

One hundred people and several people are totally different numbers, and comparing children to a group of adult females doesn't really work.  I'm not saying they're lying, but false accusations are a thing.  And remember, it's just an accusation.  You need to validate the accusation is true or else that person accused is innocent.  Innocent until proven guilty, no matter the situation.

Yeah?  Why is this concept so perplexing to you?  Have you never heard of an organized attack?

Previously you said that if there is no proof, then it didn't happen. That's calling the victims liars. Also thinking that the fifty women who accused Cosby of rape because they all hated him is merely an assumption.

Not really dude, why would I trust merely the word of someone?  You need to prove those things, you can't just say it and expect people to believe it.  And yeah it's an assumption, kinda how you're assuming that bill cosby is indeed a rapist.  Think before you say things.

Anything is a possibility, so yes. It's just an example anyways, there are tons of other possibilities (Maybe each one individually hates him, maybe some did it for settlement money, etc etc etc) and unless you have evidence there's no way to know what has actually happened. If for example I wanted to say, "Yes, they definitely did all falsely accuse them" then I would have to provide evidence in the same way that, again, if they want cosby to be charged with rape they need to come forward with some form of evidence.
