How to Edit DTS files with Notepad++?

Hello everybody, in order to make some of the weapons from the default extended pack less powerful, I attempted to open one of the DTS files in Notepad++. What came up was a lot of small boxes with things like "NUL" and "SUB" inside. If someone could tell me what settings to put Notepad++ on, I would be thankful.

You can't edit them with notepad. These are binary files and only contain the model/animations.

You probably meant to edit a .cs file instead.
