It's pretty obvious it's supposed to be a parody, but the first step of parody is subtlety. Well, actually, that's the second step, because the first step is humor. And there's quite a lack of either, really. You can't get success by just being an obvious shell of something else to make fun of it, because then it's really not much better than the real thing. You don't even get the satisfaction of being able to hate it, either, because you know it's fake. There needs to be some cleverness in your jokes, not just the same old simulacrum we see all the time.
