ok but, blockland is a different game you know ... you might want to make a better argument

you might want to make a better argument

OKay.

The game isn't dead it's only 20 days old.

Tried it out and had some fun, but I did get bored of it after a couple of rounds and decided to refunded it because I wanted something else for the same price. But I might try it again later after they add more stuff like the vehicles.

And what game you bought that you found was more fun than this?

OKay.

20 days old and out of 40k players only 200 are playing a day That just doesn't seem normal too me. And you can see gr8day's post the game gets boring after a while

When Blockland released on steam the first week it had 600 players online. It dropped down to less than 100 after that. So I don't see how you can say a game that is only 20 days old is already dead. With that attitude no wonder games die, people just say "hur dur its dead" and then no one bothers to go on.

Servers in this game support up to 16 people, which is almost always full. I never see a 16 person server on Blockland, ever. Not in a long time.

I see 16 player servers every day infact they have a larger player count. While the game is not a wasteland it is running low on players because they get bored with the little content available in the game. Evident by the 12% of players that have played 20 rounds.

It's an indie title that just came out. It wasn't a loving hyped out triple AAA game.

You're expecting too much from an indie game that just came out right now. Your expectations are through the roof.

It's a great concept and fun for a while, though it doesn't serve much in longevity.

how to finally crack tony: the guide

Back in my day we didn't play videogames for fancy virtual trinkets and ranks.

100 something players for a game is a lot.

Less than 10 people I would consider dead.
100 isn't a lot for a multiplayer pvp game.
You're just going to be playing the same people again and again.

Sounds like it is missing enough content to hold player interest for now. It's a fair criticism.
I wouldn't buy/play a pvp shooter unless it had a regularly high-ish playercount (400-500+?), like TF2, Counter Strike, CoD, Halo, etc...

Also, 16 person servers is very small for a maximum. I normally expect at least one gamemode that can support 16v16 or bigger.

Every gamemode supports 16.

See, I personally always like at least one big-team gamemode, around 16v16 or more.

Small teams of 8 or so means that if 1 person doesn't pull their weight there's a greater chance that the entire team will suffer.
When you have 20 on a team, that 1 richardhead running into a wall is mostly insignificant to your success or failure.

It's really neat and all I've ever wanted in a shooter aesthetic-wise, but gameplay-wise it's kinda.... eh to me and doesn't keep me interested for very long.

Also this, maybe if there were a mode or something with a ton of people on each team it would help create the feeling of toy warfare a bit better as well.

Yeah I'd love a map taking place in between two rooms in a house with vehicles and capture points.
