My Skype account was compromised.

My Skype account was compromised earlier yesterday. As a precautionary measure Skype suspended my account. Good on them for taking it down before it got out of hand.



I'm guessing it had something to do with the compromise in Steam security judging by the date. I've had this account for 3 years and have never had a problem with security before. Whatever, it's not like I actually use it.

Anyways, just keep safe and monitor all of your accounts for a while.

Hey I never said it was big. They (most likely) got my email address and a few other tidbits of personal information. Since you don't need a confirmation email to reset your Skype account's password, they were able to do it.
