Are you talking about this

Because it's obviously not connected to OP

Install a light weight linux distro

I had a stuffty chromebook from school and it was able to run Mint like a charm

Enjoy probably thousands of exploits that have been probably discovered since Windows XP was abandoned by Microsoft

You could say they ended Windows XP support

You could say they ended Windows XP support
they ended mainstream support only

they ended mainstream support only

They stopped with security updates, so its pretty much abandoned.

they ended mainstream support only
wtf are you talking about extended support ended in 2014.

stop that underage drinking

edit: unless you had another working computer with a floppy drive that enabled you to create the 6 setup disks mentioned on microsoft's website
This. I do have a bunch of floppies on my desk unless my dad took them back. The floppy drive is external and is somewhere in his office, I'm a little too lazy to look for it right now though since I'm going to get to bed soon. The only upside to using this computer is that it has like 90gb more than the other one.
Edit: also I can run roller coaster tycoon without it scrunching up into a tiny window in the corner that I can't loving move to the center of the screen.

Sorry for stuff quality I took this on my Ipod and it's the best camera that I have right now. I have a Kodak but I need to get stuff of of it.
Anyway since you can't really read this stuff, There are 8 disks in total. Each disk says:

Microsoft Windows
for Workgroups
Operating System

Windows Series
Disk format: High-density (1.44MB)
Version 3.11

you installed windows 3?

they have yet to end support for certain entities (governments, corporations)
the mainstream support as he said has ended

governments and corporations paid to extend the deadline for them because they don't have the budget to update legacy systems
heck I work at walmart and one computer still runs it

alright let me rephrase it

they ended XP home and professional support.

enterprise is still ongoing and will be for a long ass time. there are windows nt 3.1 for workgroups systems that still exist and still receive updates.
