Running the old version fragments the userbase and leads to unjoinable entries in the master server creating a public nuisance.  Also, running executables posted by random forum jerks is a bad idea.

iirc you can be banned for posting V20 or earlier. i believe it's because the server would appear for V21 players, but they crash as soon as they join

Port's v20 (The one linked I believe) has a custom master server and it's been linked dozens upon dozens of times.
