Author Topic: Weapon shooting animation?  (Read 373 times)

I'm not very code-savvy, but I am wondering if there is any way to make a weapon firing animation longer than how fast it shoots. Sort of. Like it will continue to play the animation as to sort of "finish up" so it will be a smooth transition to when you are holding it rather than instantly stopping? Does anybody know what I mean? Like you shoot the gun, it plays a recoil animation, and rather than instantly stopping (because the fire rate is too fast) it will tell the gun to "continue" the animation so that it falls smoothly to the holding position. Or will I need to call a separate animation to play after it shoots? lol

Either make the animation longer or make another animation too. You can't control animations much with TorqueScript.
