I uploaded this image and saved it to make sure it wasn't blocked for being a virus, It's safe, this image used to be a picture of a triggered meme for my clan, now it's this.

Wat do then, I don't download sketchy things, only certified stuff, like from steam and websites. I always look up whether or not something is a virus. What about my brothers phone, his phone stopped changing backgrounds right as mine started.

Also, it is only image files, i think malware or somethign would affect other files too.
There is a malware designed only to encrypt certain files, such as images. There is also a malware type that does that but spreads through wifi and kills itself afterwards.

Crap, my brother has an iPhone so I'm pretty sure he can't download a virus unless he jailbreaks, He hasn't and he only uses the app store and youtube, he said he rarely downloads anything and he got the "image glitch" after the power went out here shortly. sp00ky

His images are not safe, Be sure to hide his richardpics.
OT:
Viruses stay dormant until restart sometimes. The virus I was talking about does. Not sure how it got onto the phone however.

Image is safe, no richardie wickies, no one in my family had this issue other than him. It couldn't of transferred over to him and I don't know of a virus that works on both phone and computer and can switch at will.

If his phone is a windows phone i'm sure it could spread.
Just, an iphone?
I know there are lots of iphone viruses. One happened but it was deleted quickly. How did he get it? Jailbreaking?

Get a virtual computer and move the file to it. Play the file. Same with the image files.

Used virtual box, sound file is just a long ambient noise and images are still black. After the sound file ended it crashed virtual box.

Move them over there again and try to restart with them on.

For some reason this is really creeping me out.

Move them over there again and try to restart with them on.
Same result, except this time like one frame before it crashed the screen looked "Melted"?? I don't know how to describe it but everything in the emulation seemed to smear downward and then it crashed.
