Author Topic: brushing teeth before or after eating breakfast  (Read 1131 times)

i've always grown up brushing my teeth before eating breakfast but as the years go by i'm starting to think that brushing your teeth after breakfast would make more sense. what do you guys think what truly makes the more sense?

brushing your teeth is for pussies who don't like living life on the edge.

You must be british.

After, of course. What's the use of brushing them if you're going to eat immediately after?

i dont eat breakfast and brush my teeth anyway

I do brush my teeth but I never eat breakfast

which one are we voting for in the poll ???

"Do you brush your teeth before or after breakfast?"
"Yes"
What?

apparently you're supposed to do it before AND after, because if you eat breakfast without brushing, you're pretty much feeding the bacteria that got there overnight.

but that would also mean you should brush your teeth before any food as there is always a long while between food for more bacteria to get there. Brushing 4 - 8 times a day is not very fun.

It makes more sense to do it after but I always do it before

I mean, I brush my teeth...just not at breakfast.

I don't think it really makes any difference either way
only question is whether or not you like eating breakfast with toothpaste taste in your mouth

Don't lie, you're british.

I'm not very good at life so I do neither. I brush my teeth for the first time if I'm leaving to go somewhere. For the second time would be before bed.
