In 1978, San Francisco artist Gilbert Baker designed what is believed to be the first modern gay pride flag by combining eight stripes, each a different color with its own symbolism: pink for love, red for life, orange for healing, yellow for sunlight, green for nature, blue for art, indigo for harmony, and violet for the human spirit. When he wanted to manufacture the flag for sale, he found that hot pink wasn’t as available as the other colors, and so the flag dropped to seven colors. Baker later dropped indigo to maintain an even number, and the flag arrived at its contemporary six colors.

I don't see what art, healing, sunlight, etc have to do with not being straight so whats the point, i mean straight people dont have a flag, why would others require one

the gays are powered by sunlight
which would make the solar powered robots

what's the point of the cross

what's the point of the cross

to crucify and kill people on

to join two pieces of structure

a part of road where a railroad intersects

to show medical aid

what's the point of the cross
it tells people when people are crossing

in all seriousness tho i get what you mean, it represents them i guess, but it still seems a little unnecessary to me, like who really cares if you're gay/bi/etc, straight people survive without a flag so why did they feel the need to have one

to hang people on it
o

what's the point of the cross
to be shown as a medic in order to be protected by international treaties
THE POWER OF CHRIST COMPELS YOU
to mark things as incorrect
