Author Topic: Emergency Alert Scenario Videos  (Read 1905 times)

These videos are...well, why not look at the title.

Couple people do it right -- mainly shelter345, The EAS Experience, and coldsteel2204 (who surprisingly is not edgy the edgehog).

They aren't real, but despite that, they can be pretty scary for some.

Here's the select few I think are the best:

Best of shelter345:
Industrial Fire (Part 1, Part 2, Part 3 -- they're long, grab some popcorn or leave it in the background)
Civil Emergency (this is a playlist -- it's also long)
Virus (yep. another playlist.)

Best of The EAS Experience:
Alien Invasion
Retro Halloween
Nuclear Missile

Best of coldsteel2204
Christmas Vacation Hell 2011
SNES King of Monsters
Transporation System Attack

They're also nice to listen to in the background while you're doing stuff, I guess, if you're not in the mood for music.
Watch em' or something.

post stress traumatic disorder

Trigger warning to anyone who may have a PSTD on these kind of things, or air raid sirens/just sirens (they're in more than a few of these).
ok hold up there are a grand total of 0.0000 people on the forum who have ptsd
damn what's going on tumblr is spreading to our forum

i love these. they always freaked me out when i was younger and i remember going into oklahoma for vacation, being told "they have tornadoes there all the time" by my friends, then hearing the emergency alert system pop on for a drill during dinner. i nearly had a heart attack lmao.

anyway, i like the ones that are realistic

I can't imagine anyone but people who were alive during like ww2 would have that specific problem and I don't think there are a whole lot of those around these parts
