It doesn't matter what your definition of justice is; if you live in the United States you are subject to its government's rules, no matter how emotional you are.

I think you should read it again. He did a wrong just as much as the serial killer did, not just as horrible a wrong.

As in it's black and white. They both broke rules, they both get charged. I'm not trying to suggest that the wrongs aren't lightyears away from each other in severity, nor am I saying they should have the same punishment.
