How was smashing a chair over a man's head in a courtroom "within reason?"

Well apparently things like "triggers" excuse people for their outburst behaviors because they've seen a mean comment on twitter.

Yet we can't excuse someone's behavior for beating up the guy that just raped and strangled his mom in front of him?

The world is going backwards.

ok the anime girl has been posted
I'm done with this thread now
if you need me I'll be in weeb hell

I was satisfied when he gave him a taste of that chair. I would of felt like doing the same if some person killed one of my parents.

I think it should be perfectly legal to challenge people to duels to the death, either by swords or pistols.

As long as neither is intoxicated while issuing the challenge, there are witnesses at every step of the way, and anybody retains the right to decline, it's an honorable and entertaining way to weed out the most violent people in our society.

Yeah but it's still illegal.

neither should be excused, but obviously this is a little more serious than someone having a tantrum after reading something on the internet

we shall erect a colosseum in the town square

Yea buts its still illegal
I'm not refusing that, it is indeed illegal. But it was worth it to give that killer a taste of that chair.

The black guy was suffering from a real "trigger"

I wouldn't doubt he has PTSD from it.

How is it even remotely appropriate to refer to this scumbag as a "man"? He's the lowest form and should be treated as such.

I think you should read it again. He did a wrong just as much as the serial killer did, not just as horrible a wrong.

As in it's black and white. They both broke rules, they both get charged. I'm not trying to suggest that the wrongs aren't lightyears away from each other in severity, nor am I saying they should have the same punishment.

Nothing is black and white. I would have to question your character if you cant tell the difference between a criminal who rapes and kills four women and a man who is getting pay back for what the man did to his mother.

Some people like him aren't even worth housing in our prisons; they're not fixable. Death row will fix them and save money too.

You know the man who killed Jeffrey Dahmer in prison was labeled a hero.

It was a shame they charged that guy with murder.

Oh totally. If I could have done that, being fully aware of the consequences, I would have done it in a heartbeat lol

I can. But I am saying that beating somebody with a chair is inexcusable under any circumstances.

Please don't mistake this for comparing murder and vengeful assault.

Who attacked first? The witness or the suspect? I honestly couldnt tell. Its star wars all over again

ok last post here for real this time
are caribou and tony some sort of stuffpost bait meme team now?
they're working together and it's a little terrifying

Jeffrey Dahmer was killed in prison because no one wanted to hear about how he keeps eating human beings and having love with their organs.

Jeffrey Dahmer didn't deserve a life sentence.

They should have let the guy who killed Dahmer go for "good behavior"
