Author Topic: How "possible" is first-person spectating?  (Read 1801 times)

I've wondered about it since the third person spectating feature came out, is it possible?

I'm sure this has been answered before but I couldn't find anything on the topic.

*When I say 'first person' I don't mean just sticking the camera inside / in front of the players head.

The more I think of it, the more posible it seems to me. I'd say it's most likely possible.

I really don't think it's possible otherwise why wouldn't it be default/done by now. It's something that surely would have been by now.

I talked to a few people about this before, and they said it would be possible with torque but really choppy, like that thing where you press shift to go down while spectating.

I investigated this for Slayer and concluded that there wasn't a *good* way to do it.

for a .dll it would be totally possible and it would be smooth and look good n stuff

May someone make it? This type of thing is really useful for dm-type gamemodes.
