It helps weed out votes from unregistered accounts. But if it's an actual alt then idk if that can even be fixed.

also theres nothing saying nobody else didn't use multiple keys

also its not cheating if the website very easily just lets me put in another username. if pecon didnt intend for this to happen he/she would have the 'vote here' button removed when an ip votes or make it similar to strawpolls system after they vote confirmed with a name

because you need multiple keys to vote multiple times, whereas on the forums all you need is multiple accounts without keys attached to them
