Would you buy a phone with a non removable battery?

I'm on the fence about getting a specific phone only because the battery cannot be removed and there is no reset button. What happens when the battery dies? What happens when the phone freezes and I can't take the battery out to reset it?

Well I bought a phone with a non removable battery at walmart and I tried taking it apart to see what the battery was like. The phone started smoking lol

i bought the zenfone 2 and it didn't have a removable battery--it's annoying, but if i really need to i could probably get the battery out

I wouldn't, no. I plan on using my phone far longer than 4 years and don't have the technical abilities to replace a battery myself and don't want to pay someone to do it, much more convenient to just pull out the battery and put a new one in.

I'd have no issue with it, considering phone contracts only go for 2 years and I plan to replace my phones after 2 years

With built in phone batteries you need a special kit to replace that stuff.

I had a factory refurbished iPhone 4s and it's battery went to stuff. It would die when it was at like 20% randomly. I recently acquired an android with a removable battery. Highly recommend it.

All I know is that there isn't really any decent tracfones and the only decent one has a built in battery.

I never dropped my phone in water before.

I'm more worried if the damn thing freezes and I am unable to restart it. My PS3 controller has a tiny pin sized hole for hard resets, why don't these built in battery phones work the same?

This is the reason why I left working at Walmart is that people like this work in the electronics department who are utterly helpless but to ask others who actually know what they are talking about.

Hey bro I've explored every possible option and did research before doing this stuff. I just never dealt with a non removable batteries before.

Phones aren't like computers, sometimes even holding down the power button won't respond. You should know that.


Also I take pride in knowing that the electronic section in my walmart is falling apart without me there, lol. I've been told they can't keep anyone, all the new people keep quitting.
