Mousing is dying I guess

Holding down to drag stuff sometimes it clicks again and lets go.
The mouse Im currently using is a logitech g300
Any ideas to either fix it, or any suggestions for a new mouse

my mouse is trying to quit but i wont let it, so at this point it may be animal abuse.
it has a hole burned through the side, the right click sometimes doesnt work, clicking once sometimes clicks twice, one of the buttons on the side just doesnt work. fun times.
