Post lovely pictures/talk about your pets, or come for advice if you consider getting any.

I have one dog named Skyler, she is a rescue dog (she was abandoned at a young age.) We got her a year and a half ago and she has been doing fine, although she can sometimes can get a little too rowdy outside and while on walks. It has been better since we first got her though. She picked up some fleas, we've been treating her for that. Today I'm going to give her a bath inside, we had previously would just have gone to a dog wash/hosed her off with a moderate stream and some dog shampoo.

Skyler following her 'paw' command.

Confused as to why I'm not letting go.

i was thinking of making a thread like this

Three dogs, one cat, two horses

Only one dog and the cat are halfway tolerable.

1 cat
7 loving rabbits god damn I hate them

we had a guinea pig that died a few months ago
she spent like about 5.75 years alive
rip

we also had a dog when i was really young but since i was a youngster we gave it to someone else and it died back in like 2008

That's a pretty good life for a guinea pig. We had a couple back when I was like 8 years old but we got rid of them because they were too messy, had contagious skin disorders, and because my parents decided we were too young to take care of them (we didn't do a good job of it).

I had a lovely pet rabbit once, we had gotten her as a tiny adorable baby and named her "Bun Bun".

My dad had given her a more affectionate name: "Flottenmop McFluffybuns Junior"

No one ever called her that but his attempt at a name was duly noted.

It's a shame we didn't get many pictures of her, she passed away overnight in my room. We couldn't tell right off the bat if she died of old age (which is entirely possible) or it was because the fleas that we just couldn't get rid of got to her.

Still a sad thing none-the-less.

On that note, rabbits stuff. A lot. I had to clean the cage every week. Fun times.

Oh, and I didn't realize I was allergic to rabbit dander until after we got her. Oops. Didn't regret getting her for a second though.

I'm posting this because she was my first ever actual pet I had responsibility for.

hahaha the pain
I wish I cared for my rabbits like you cared for yours but there's so damn many I mentally can't

Kind of disappointing, but this is the most recent photo I have of my dog, Archie.
It's from back in the summer.

He's an English roosterer Spaniel, about 11 years old now I think.
I've posted almost all his humorous photos here before.

These two are my favourites though.
